We are one of the largest bioengineering student organizations at UC San Diego, and we are excited to welcome you to our community.

BMES is open to all students, regardless of major, experience, or background. We host events, workshops, projects, and professional opportunities throughout the year -- all designed to give you the opportunities, experiences, and community needed to thrive. Whether you are looking to explore research, gain hands-on engineering experience, contribute to science outreach, or simply meet other bioengineers, there’s a place for you at BMES.
