NSC is dedicated to connecting and engaging freshmen and first year transfer students with fellow peers, BMES, and the Bioengineering campus community. Our committee hosts workshops, socials, and large scale events that allow students to create lasting connections, gain valuable skills, and gain exposure to the field of biomedical engineering! There are also numerous opportunities for professional development and networking.

Hi! I'm Ava, I'm a 2nd year BENG Biosystems major from Revelle college! In addition to being one of the New Student Committee Officers, I am also involved in research with Dr. Wang's lab, I am involved in SWE, SHPE, and UCSD's Phi Sigma Rho sorority.
